10 Apps That Make Adulting a Little Less Stressful
There’s an app for that.
I try to delete apps from my phone that I don’t use to keep my phone uncluttered. The apps I’ve kept over the long-term are the heavy-hitters. They make an impact.
Health & Wellness
Happy Not Perfect: Prioritize self-care with this female-founded meditation app. It’s a great way to start or end your day.
Flo: Track your cycle and learn about hormone health. There’s a wealth of information in this app and it’s one of the few cycle apps that’s actually built by a woman.
Peloton: You don’t need a Peloton bike to work out with Peloton. They have outdoor workouts, guided runs, meditations, power walking, yoga, HIIT, and strength training. The instructors are motivating and you can track your workouts.
Business
Google My Business: Never miss a Google review for your business. You can reply to customers right away.
Trello: I learned about Trello from the last company I worked for and continue to use it to manage personal and business tasks. It’s free and you can use it on both your computer and phone.
Squarespace: I manage my website and Alpha email campaigns using Squarespace. It’s easy to use and simplifies everything.
Slack: I communicate with contractors via Slack to make sure we’re on the same page even though we all work remotely.
Marketing
Lightroom: I use light room to edit photos before uploading to social media or to my website. You can purchase Etsy instagram filters and import them to Lightroom to make your Insta cohesive.
Canva: DIY design tool you can use for social media, email, website marketing, anything. I also use it for mock-ups when I need a more clear vision of what I want something to look like.
Unfold: Unfold is an Instagram marketing app for your business’ stories.
Do you have any apps you can’t live without? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
